Emily, twenty-six years old, had already been working as an inspector at the nature reserve for three years.
She had arrived there right after graduating from university and very quickly earned the respect of the staff. The girl loved animals and sincerely believed she could protect them from the people who came to the savanna only for money.
He was particularly concerned about a group of poachers who had been operating in the reserve’s territory for several months.
They kept appearing in a different place each time.
They were left behind by traps, dead animals, and vehicle tracks.
The reserve management tried to catch them, but without success.
One day, Emily happened to notice a truck moving through a restricted area.
