A homeless boy broke into a billionaire’s bedroom and smashed his leg cast with a rock, but when the cast broke, something inside left everyone paralyzed with horror.
The bedroom door burst open and a homeless boy entered, a rock in his hand. He was filthy, breathless, his eyes blazing with an eerie certainty, and before anyone could stop him, he went to the bed and smashed with all his might against the man’s leg cast.
“There’s no fracture, they’re deceiving him!” the boy shouted loudly, without taking his eyes off the doctors.
Chaos immediately erupted in the room: a doctor rushed toward him, another doctor stood frozen in shock, and the man in the bed didn’t even immediately understand what was happening. He merely flinched from the blow and stared at the child in confusion.
“What are you doing?!” shouted the doctor, trying to snatch the stone away.
But the boy did not back down.
—You keep it in a plaster cast on purpose, I know it! There’s no bone there, there’s something else!
His words sounded too confident to be from an ordinary child, and for a second everyone froze. Even the doctors exchanged glances, as if that sentence had touched a nerve they didn’t want to talk about.
The man was breathing with difficulty and looked alternately at the child and his leg.
“What are you talking about…” she murmured softly.
But the boy picked up the stone again and struck it once more. The plaster cracked even more, a piece broke off and fell to the ground. The doctor finally grabbed his arm, but it was too late.
The plaster began to fill with deep cracks.
The room fell silent. No one was shouting anymore. Everyone was staring at the leg.
Slowly, almost breathlessly, the doctor bent down and began removing the plaster cast with his hands. The pieces crumbled and fell away, revealing what should have been a normal leg after an operation.
But it wasn’t a normal leg, it was… The rest of the story can be found in the first comment
There was no normal skin under the cast.
There was a dark, dense mass, as if something strange had grown inside, enveloping the bone and muscles. It moved slightly, as if reacting to the light and air.
The doctor stepped back and covered her mouth with her hand.
—This… can’t be…
The man paled, his gaze went blank, he couldn’t even scream.
And the homeless child looked at everything calmly and said in a low voice:
—I’ve seen something like that before.
They all turned sharply towards him.
—At another hospital—he added—. They also said it was a fracture… until it was too late.
Silence reigned once more in the room.
Only this time, nobody tried to stop the boy.
Because everyone understood that he was right.
