When the car turned onto a forest road, there had been no houses or people around for a long time. It was a cold winter night. Snow lay among the trees, and the wind rattled the bare branches.

He ran without stopping, stumbling and falling, convinced that the wolf was chasing him.

Only after several minutes did he dare to look back.

But there was no one there. The wolf wasn’t even trying to reach him. He returned to where the woman was and approached carefully, sitting down beside her.

For a few minutes he carefully observed her face, and then he began to lick her hands and cheeks.

After a while, Victoria moved.

The woman slowly opened her eyes and at first didn’t understand where she was.

Standing before her was a huge wolf. Startled, she jumped up abruptly, but the animal showed no aggression.

He looked at her calmly and didn’t even try to get closer.
